Halloween at Cluck 'n Collect wasn't just about spooktacular savings, it was a lesson in sustainable celebrations. Our pumpkins proved to be not only affordable compared to the prices charged by Colesworth, but also a fantastic way to reduce waste and give back to the environment.

One of our garden members and frequent Cluck ‘n Collect shopper, experienced the joy of carving their pumpkin into a spooky masterpiece. And once the festivities were over, the pumpkin didn't end up in the landfill. Instead, it took a trip to the worm farm, where it became a nutritious feast for hardworking worms.

Did you know that in Australia, a staggering 2000 tonnes of non-recyclable Halloween waste ends up in landfills every year? That's a lot of unnecessary waste! By choosing a pumpkin from Cluck 'n Collect and composting it afterwards, they not only saved money but also contributed to a greener Halloween.

So, next year, remember to choose pumpkins that are both affordable and eco-friendly. Let's make Halloween a celebration of creativity and sustainability!
